Departments organizes your company workforce into functional teams such as HR, Engineering, Sales, and Operations. Department assignments help filter attendance metrics, group payroll totals, and delegate manager approvals.
The screen at a glance
- + Add department button opens the modal dialog to register a new department name.
- Departments table displays department entries under Name and Employees headcount columns.
- Row action icons offer edit pencil and delete trash buttons for each department row.
Notes and limits
- Available on every plan.
- Deleting a department requires reassigning its existing employees to another active department first.
